Languages at Manor Park
At Manor Park Primary Academy, we celebrate the diversity of our school community and the many languages which are represented by our families.
In EYFS and Key Stage 1, the children are taught greetings and phrases in a range of languages, including British Sign Language, which reflects this diversity and promotes inclusion and respect.
In Key Stage 2, the children learn French, preparing them for future learning in secondary school and beyond! We follow the PlanIt Scheme which is taught through engaging and meaningful units, enabling the children to learn to communicate effectively in another language.
